We are serving as AFLC Missionaries on loan to Lutheran Bible Translators. This strategic partnership is one that combines years of experience in Bible Translation with the warm and mission-hearted family of the AFLC.

We are the Olson Family!

We were called to serve in Tanzania with the Kerewe Bible Translation project taking place on Ukerewe Island.

Our family is still in the pre-field stage, visiting churches and raising financial support for this work. We hope to leave for Tanzania in early 2019.

I grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

When I was 13, I lived in Tanzania with my family for a year. While there, I noticed that God had gifted me with a love for language learning. My calling into missions grew stronger as I attended Bible School and Seminary.

One of my life goals is to learn to say John 3:16 in
20 languages.

I love watching people smile.
When I see smiles, it makes me smile really a lot!
It's fun being a missionary kid because I get to visit lots of churches and see many smiling faces.

I like watching Mariah too... She is so funny.
